Since the late 1980s I’ve been flyfishing and at the same time I took up flyfishing I began tying flies.  I’ve been fishing about every water, river and stream that has trout in Missouri.  Since I began tying flies I have almost fished exclusively flies that I personally have tied.

99% of the flies I tie are dry flies.  I fish them year around.  Not too effective in the heart of winter but fishable the other 3 seasons.
